I started out hand-coding sites in Ireland; 16+ years later I lead development at Point Hacks, heading up the team behind Australia's leading points and travel rewards site and driving performance improvements across the platform. Most of my impact now comes from setting technical direction, code reviews that teach, and treating accessibility and performance as defaults. My job is to make the team faster, not just the code.
